Cost of Salvation
John 3:13 - "No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man."
- Jesus took on our weaknesses to sympathize with us and show us how to live a better way with those weaknesses
- In complete humility, Jesus left heaven to come in the form of a man
- He entered into time, took on the pain of humanity, took the shame and guilt of sin on the cross, and felt the pain of death
- God considered humanity (His creation) significant enough to send the Son into His creation and become one of us, leaving His kingdom and glory for a time
Matthew 1:23 - "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us)."
